BACON WRAPPED DATES
One of my go-to appetizers for dinner parties, these bad boys are filled with blue cheese and walnuts, topped with honey, thyme, and salt, and packed full of flavor. Best of all, they are super easy to make!
Time: 15 min | Difficulty: 1/5 | Servings: 12
1. Preheat
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Prep Bacon and Walnuts
Cut bacon in half and do the same with your walnuts.
3. Stuff and Wrap
Stuff date with a little bit of blue cheese, two walnut halves, and then press together. Wrap with a piece of bacon and use tooth picks to secure.
4. Bake
Cook for 7-8 minutes, then rotate and cook for another 7-8 minutes. You want the bacon to be crisp on both sides, so you can cook longer if needed.
5. Finish
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Remove tooth picks, top with a drizzle of honey, a bit of thyme and flakey sea salt, and enjoy!
