CHICKEN PARM SLIDERS
The perfect hors d'oeuvre for your next gameday party, holiday party, or frankly, any day party, these little sammies are so freakin’ delicious.
Time: 35 min | Difficulty: 2/5 | Servings: 12
1. Prep
Preheat oven to 350°. Cut dinner rolls in half, brush with melted butter, season with garlic salt, and oregano, and toast in the open for 10 minutes until golden brown. Keep an eye on them and make sure they don’t burn.
2. Slice and Pound
Slice your chicken breasts in half and then pound thinly. Set aside.
3. Coat
In three separate bowls, prepare your flour, whisked eggs, and breadcrumbs. Dip each piece of chicken in the flour, then the whisked egg, and finally the breadcrumbs.
4. Fry
Once all of your chicken is breaded, heat a pan of oil (I like to use olive oil) and fry your chicken pieces in batches for roughly 3 minutes per side until golden brown, crisp, and cooked through.
5. Make it Parm
Turn your oven to broil. Place your cooked chicken on a lined baking sheet and top with marinara sauce and a slice of mozzarella. Broil for roughly 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and brown spots have started to form on the cheese.
6. Make it a Slider
Once your mini chicken parms are ready, top with chopped fresh basil, place on your toasted buns, and serve!
